In 1994 Lisa began working for an insurance company doing telephonic case management of workers’ compensation claims for a dedicated company. Two years later she obtained certification in case management and obtained a position with an insurer as a field case manager for workers’ compensation and auto no-fault claims. In 2008 she joined ManageAbility providing field case management services for workers’ compensation and auto no-fault claims. Prior to her career in case management, Lisa worked in the hospital setting in various areas such as med-surgery, nephrology and primary care. Her last hospital position was in a community program called “Hello, Nurse”, giving medical advice over the phone and doing after hour’s calls for physician offices. She has maintained her CCM certification and attends continuing education presentations on a regular basis. She enjoys helping injured persons obtain appropriate medical treatment and guiding them towards returning to work and to restoring their prior life and activities.
