Stacey graduated from Michigan State University with a BSN. She has been in the field of nursing for 28 years. Initially Stacey worked 15 years at IRMC as a staff RN which included general surgery, orthopedic/neurology, MRICU, dialysis and cardiology. Stacey managed the orthopedic/neuro unit. She was able to implement critical pathways/mini case management model by working collaboratively with physicians’ and management. As a result, Stacey was asked to assist with implementation of a sub acute rehabilitation unit in the Lansing area which was initiated. At that point Stacey realized she wanted to pursue field case management as it allowed for independent critical thinking, establishing relationships and implementing an appropriate plan of care to achieve optimal outcomes for the patients and the clients. I love to learn and have a passion for resolving the “irresolvable” and thinking “out of the box”, strategizing as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Stacey has experience with Workers’ Compensation and Auto No-Fault. Her other experience includes; home care/hospice, IV transfusion therapy. Stacey has been a CCM for the last 10 years.
